They set up an appointment for the next day :) They were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The appraiser, Archie, truly knows his stuff. He followed miniscule trails of damage to uncover the true issues. He got the estimate prepared quickly; while I was at the location. When they realized the first appointment was over a month away they suggested a different location so I could get the repairs done faster. Where there was confusion with the other location, they called and cleared up the misunderstanding so I could get my car in at the end of this month instead of next. It was a very good experience following the pain of an accident. Thanks gang! Hopefully my April 17 repairs will go as smoothly.

I came in for an estimate for my work vehicle. I was greeted by a friendly office and happy with how quickly I got in. Paxton Mann walked me through the repair and was extremely helpful. I visited the Boyd Autbody location in Douglasdale, Calgary on August 15, 2012. My service representative was Paxton Mann. This was the best customer service experience I've had in a long time - Paxton was able to resolve my issue quickly and efficiently and was super friendly and helpful. The quote he gave me on an additional repair I inquired about was very reasonable (and much less compared to other autobody shops for the same work/parts.) I would definitely return here and recommend Paxton to my family or friends. Thanks!!

"The service at Boyd Autobody and Glass in Douglassdale was excellent. The receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. I was thrilled with the speed and efficiency of the work. I did not expect it to be completed so quickly. In this day and age where excellent or even good customer service is so hard to come by this was this was a pleasant experience indeed. The truck was not only expertly repaired but thoroughly cleaned inside and out. A far cry from "service" that we encountered at Southgate Chev four years ago where we had previously taken the truck for repairs. Not only did they take about six weeks to fix the damage, they replaced our new but dented tailgate with an old one which was badly scratched on the inside. The decal faded shortly there after. We would have complained but didn't want to be without a vehicle for ... an additional six weeks. The service at Boyd's is prompt, professional, courteous and obviously up to the highest standards. I would definitely use Boyd Autobody and Glass again and highly recommend them to anyone." read more

I just want to thank you for a job well done. i took my car in on a Tuesday and it was done on the Wednesday. To top it all off my was detailed, which i certainly did not expect. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my vehicle. The damage was fixed to perfection, at least it looked that wayto me. The staff was so very understanding as i had been driving for 55 years and never had an accident so i was very new at what i should do. I wanted to take the time this morning to comment on the customer service that I received while dealing with an insurance claim this past week. I find that I am more often than not writing managers and owners to comment on how poor their customer service has been and how much of my time, energy and money has been wasted. Today I am thrilled to be writing quite a different letter. Early on the morning of March 25 my husband and I were awoken to the Calgary Police knocking on our front door to advise us that my parked car had been pushed down the street by a suspected drunk driver. One of my first thoughts was, “I hope that they at least wrote the car off, that way all the hassle of insurance and autobody shops and car rentals, not to mention the deductable might be worth it.” I am currently expecting my first child and at the time of the ... accident I was 5 weeks from my delivery date. Having to deal with this was really not something else I needed to be worrying about. I called the insurance company later that day to report the accident and give all the information. The man I spoke to said that someone contact me the next business day, which given that it was Sunday at 8am I was not surprised to hear. Monday morning, before 9am Ruchika from Aviva called me to discuss the claim. She was very friendly and went out of her way to find a body shop that not only was close by but could also get my car in right away so that repairs could be done before the baby arrived. She put me in touch with Boyd Autobody and said they were expecting my call. I called Boyd right away and was booked for an appointment to have an estimate done within hours. When I got to Boyd the estimate was done quickly and Sidney, the appraiser went over everything that he found and we also discussed the possibility of hidden damage and potential damage to wheels and suspension as a result of the car being pushed. The receptionist, Emily, was able to book my car in for the following Tuesday (May 3). She also arranged the Rental through Enterprise and said that she would arrange to have them pick me up right when I dropped my car off so that I wouldn’t have to wait. Tuesday morning came around and at 9:30 I dropped my car off and as I turned around from handing Emily my keys, Kyle from Enterprise was there waiting to take me down to the Enterprise shop to fill out paper work and get a rental car. Kyle was super friendly and helpful in getting what I needed from my car into the rental. Once at Enterprise, Kyle and I filled out paper work and one of the other workers went to the back and brought out a toy truck for my four-year-old step-son (who I should add was with me at every stop alone the way). At this point I was amazed by the customer service from all three companies. I commented to my husband that night how amazing and easy this whole process had been. He laughed at me felt my forehead and asked if I was sick. On Thursday morning, Emily from Boyd called to say that my car would be ready and I could pick it up by 5. With work downtown and doctors appointment at 4 that day, there was no way that I would make it back down to the south end of the city. She arranged to have the keys and all the paper work waiting for me at Enterprise, so that I could pick my car up Saturday morning. I was able to pay the deductable over the phone so that I could have my car back for the weekend. Saturday morning I arrived at Enterprise, was given my keys, signed some papers and was then driven up to Boyd where my car was all fixed and waiting for me. Through this whole process, I have been just floored and how well I, along with my step son have been treated. Everyone was friendly, prompt and helpful. When I commented to a friend about the process she said that it must because I was so pregnant that they took pity on me. Maybe that was the case, however I get the impression that I would have received the same level of service without being the size of house! Whether that is the case or not, I have never received such amazing service, care and attention. At the end of the day, I felt like a valued customer, pregnant or not. I cannot express my gratitude to Ruchika, Sidney, Emily, Kyle and the other employees at Boyd and Enterprise who worked on my claim. At days away from going into labour, their amazing attitude and hard work have made this experience exponentially better than I ever could have hoped for. It is so refreshing to see that there are still companies that provide genuine customer service. I am rarely one to offer recommendations for products or services, but I can say without a doubt that I will always recommend Aviva, Boyd Autobody and Enterprise Rentals if ever I am asked. I took my Volvo XC90 to the Boyd Autobody and Glass in my neighbourhood after something hit my sunroof and smashed it while driving on the highway. I received a quick estimate and was most impressed when the salesperson offered to seal the broken sunroof, even though I had not committed to giving my business to his shop. That was one of the reasons I returned and did leave my vehicle for repair - customer service was obviously top of mind. Unfortunately, once the repair was underway the job turned out to be significantly more difficult that had originally been estimated. In the end, my car had been in the shop for 10 days, not one, and the final cost was $250 more than estimated. However, thoughout the process I was kept informed and there were many apologies as to the situation. I do appreciate the professionalism and quality work that I ... received. It was a seamless - right from the first time I called and spoke to Melissa and than came in and had Sidney look at the damage to my car, I felt confident that the job would get done correctly.
