I have dealt with Boyd Autobody in a recent accident with my wife's car. We dealt with serviceman Milan N. , he was a great guy to work with. He help us navigate our claim with the insurance company which we greatly appreciate. He was very professional, forth right and very personable in letting us know the process and kept us informed and updated us regularly. The car was fix and the quality of the work was like new which we greatly appreciate. I have no problem recommending Byod Auto (Surrey) for a quality job and more specifically working with Milan was a real treat, Jim

I usually don't write reviews, but I definitely have to write a review after the wonderful and topnotch experience of having to take my car in for repair after being involved in a MVA. This was my first time ever dealing with Boyd. I am very pleased and satisfied with the workmanship they have done and the quality of service provided by Amrit (Manao) and Chaitali (reception) When I called Boyd, I am not sure if they can booked me in right away for an assessment/estimate as I know autobody shops are always busy, as well as it is nearing the busy holiday season. I talked to Chaitali and after telling her I have such an erratic work schedule and gave her specific days I can only bring in the car, she said that she'll check their schedules and will have to call me back. After 15-20 minutes she called me back and promptly booked me in the same ... day. Chaitali was friendly, courteous, and professional on the phone, as well as in person from when I brought the car in and until I picked it up. Amrit was as well courteous , professional and very pleasant to deal with. He clearly communicated a date for the repair, dealt with ICBC and explained everything that is needed to be done with my car. My car had a significant body damage to the front. The work they did was fantastic; paint perfectly matched and seamless, new parts and body panels perfectly fitted. Boyd handled all my paper work, arranged a rental car from enterprise. Everything that I requested for a MUST have in the rental car was accommodated. (Hats off to you guys!). 1 week later my car was ready. I was totally satisfied after reviewing the workmanship. One nice touch was how well they cleaned and vacuumed the interior of my car. You made a stressful process seamless and positive. Within days following the initial evaluation my vehicle repair started and was completed in less than one week. The repair quality is high, I am happy to have brought my car to Boyd Autobody. Staff is friendly and helpful and dealt with the insurance company and arranged for the car rental. The car was fully washed in and out when I picked it. Very happy overall. Thank you!

Absoultely the best customer service and repair I could ever ask for. They kept me updated on the progess of my repairs. Amrit and his team were professional in every respect. They deserve 10 Stars! They also coordinated my rental with Enterprise who were THE BEST! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of autobody work.

These guys are my heroes. I'm not even kidding, they totally saved me and then went above and beyond after that. Long story short, someone keyed my car and damaged my door lock a couple of years ago. I made the claim right away but then procrastinated on following through with the repairs (for which there is a 2-year time limit if you want it covered by your insurance). I figured I'd have all the time in the world to get it done but then suffered a health condition that took me out for the months leading up to my 2-year deadline. So there's me, trying to find an auto body shop that would take my car in for repair on less than a week's notice. I initially didn't realize how ridiculous of a request that was until I spoke to my insurance provider and then called a large number of other auto body shops. Turns out they all have a 6-week ... waiting list right now. I literally got laughed at when I called some auto body shops to ask if they could take me right away. But Boyd Autobody Richmond was sympathetic to my situation and agreed to take my car right away, despite how busy they are. I was already on cloud 9 and so incredibly grateful when I went in to pick up my car. But little did I know, they still had one surprise left for me. After paying my deductible and getting my keys, I walked out to my car to examine their work. It was perfect. I then jumped in my car, prepared to drive off, when I looked around and saw that my car was immaculately clean. I was shocked. To put this into perspective, my car has not been that clean in years. I have two huskies, both of which shed like you wouldn't believe and love to run through mud, as well as the sand at the beach after getting wet. And then they get in my car. I literally gave up on trying to keep my car clean years ago. And I'm pretty sure there was close to an inch of husky hair than had accumulated on the floor of my back seats, which I tended to ignore because I have a little 2-door BMW so it was hard to get to that area and I never really had to see it anyway. So let's just say, I was convinced my car would never be clean again unless I paid at least $500 for a professional to detail it. I in no way expected Boyd Autobody to clean the inside of my car like that...and BMW certainly doesn't do it whenever I've taken my car in for servicing (not that I can blame them, lol). But Boyd Autobody Richmond went above and beyond on that front. I don't even want to know how many hours it took the poor guy assigned that task to complete it. I was so impressed and grateful that I ran back inside and asked if I could give the guy who cleaned my car a tip. But they, with a smile, said no, it's all good, and they would pass along my thanks. I am never taking my car to another auto body shop again. read more
