My experience with Boyd Autobody far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I had called to advise them that I would have their shop repair my icbc claim, the service was top notch. Joseph L. was absolutely awesome. Though it took some time to completely restore my car, he would phone me to provide updates every few days so I would not have to call and gave me complete confidence that all the work would be done perfectly. Even his manager had called me to give me updates and assist in any way as well. As expected, when I picked up my car today, it was in showroom condition. Though I will be moving from richmond soon, if I have any claims or repairs in future, I will 100% without a doubt bring my car to Boyd Autobody in RIchmond and I will recommend their shop to any friends or family that have any claims as well. Thank you again.

I was constantly informed of the status of my vehicle as well as the anticipated delivery date. Rishi B., who was the General Manager, was extremely pleasant to deal with. He not only went above and beyond to service his clients but also accommodated to my customer service requests. Great service from start to finish--from the initial phone inquiry to window chip repair. Absolutely accommodating, professional, efficient, professional, personable and understanding. I'd like to thank you for doing such a great job on replacing the windshield. From walking into the unit to getting the car back within 3 hrs. No appointment were made. Great customer service from everyone especially the girl Samantha at the front desk. Not to mention about the car wash, it was professionally done inside out. It was so clean its compatible to any car wash places. Great Job guys!!

I returned to Boyd Richmond for the 2nd time in a couple of years to have the windshield on my Range Rover replaced. All I have to say is AMAZING SERVICE ALWAYS!. I have recently moved into the interior and was in town due to business. I called Rishi at about noon and asked to see if I can get the glass done before i go back the following day and he said no problem I will get it done. And he did. I dropped my truck at 2 pm and was on my way back up by 2 pm the next day. Great service on short notice that fits my schedule..... cant beat it. He even flew a part in overnight to complete the job! What really blew me away was the fact that my truck went in filthy. After 4 weeks of highway driving in the interior weather I needed a detail badly. Well to my surprise.... when i came to pickup the truck it was spotless!! Inside and out. Thanks to ... the detailer or whoever cleaned it because it was a mess and you made it new again. Thanks Rishi again for your great service and attention to detail and thanks to Boyd Richmond. I would refer anyone that is looking for glass work to be done just because of the service and the car cleaning!! Its worth going here. read more

Got rear ended and had my rear bumper wrecked. Read some reviews online and found Boyd with really good reviews, so I decided to take it to Boyd. It's my first time getting into an accident, and due to my previous unpleasant experiences with different Autobody shops, I was extremely nervous and careful. The staff are extremely friendly and patient with me. Especially requested a fuel efficient courtesy car upon request. After they took my car in, they called me and gave me updates. They also reassured me with pictures taken and sent to me to ensure I was satisfied with my new parts. Unexpectedly, it was a speedy repair and I took my car back in no time ! My boyfriend and I were both really happy with the work done. After i got my car back, I realized a rattling sound coming from my car. Like something came loose and was rocking around the ... car. Called them and they immediately took my car back in. Took them over an hour to diagnose the problem (taking parts apart and inspecting my car in and out), and found out that it was a pen that's causing the problem. They said it might have been the aftermath of the accident causing the pen to slide underneath the carpet rubbing against the metal, but unlikely. Regardless, they did not charge me a dime for all the effort, work and time put in diagnosing the problem, despite that it wouldn't be covered from my insurance. Would definitely recommend this shop. I would give 10/10 for their service, professionalism, competency and speed. read more

Just before Christmas I had a single vehicle accident. Along with all the usual worry about getting my vehicle repaired I was worried about all the running around that my family was committed to over the holiday. The staff at Boyd Richmond were professional and took the time to help outline options that were available and help me make informed choices about how best to navigate the repair process with ICBC and the Boyd repair shop. I was recently in Vancouver to purchase a vehicle. Once I viewed the car I was potentially going to purchase I realized I would feel more comfortable having it checked out by a professional. Knowing Rishi for many years, I knew he was the right guy for this job. Since I had to return home for business, I reached out to him and had the car brought to his shop during my transaction. Rishi came in on a sunday and spent 2 hours personally viewing and inspecting all aspects of the car to ensure I was getting what I had seen in the pictures. I was looking to spend some money on fixing small chips and scratches as the car was a couple of years old but Rishi advised me that most of this is superficial and he could polish it out for no charge himself. After taking care of all of my requests and handling these small details I was assured by Mr. ... Bakshi that this BMW was ready to roll and I should be "worry free" about finalizing the deal. He even took the time to drive the seller to the train station once he dropped the cars and paper work off. I then finalized the deal and Rishi has helped ship my new 650i to Edmonton for me. I was blown away by the extent that Rishi went to for me for a job that he was not financially benefiting from. On the flipside, I knew due to his professional nature that I could count on him. Although this was more of a personal transaction and not directly linked to a Boyd "Sale" I will continue to hold Rishi and Boyd in high regards. We do have many Boyd location in Edmonton and i am sold on spreading the word. Everyone needing automotive assistance should experience this type of personalized service that Boyd offers. read more
