I had an incredibly traumatic experience with someone coming onto my property and stealing the rear bumper off my new car. As I worked from home at the time, I only had basic insurance. I now need my car for my new job so to say this was inconvenient is putting it lightly. I was panicked and worried about cost. I googled, called around for quotes. Found my way to Dali my estimator. He was professional, honest and kind as I was highly stressed. The quote he gave over the phone was exactly what I paid for the services Boyd provided (barring nothing else popped). My car was ready when they said it would be. Not to mention washed and vacuumed. My car looks perfect and this nightmare is finally over. I only met and spoke with Dali but I realize it takes a team...So kudos to all at Boyd. Thank you for a job well done! The service received was excellent and the all the staff were very friendly and helpful. All our questions were answered by Dali at the initial consultation regarding our glass claim. The work was completed on time and the car was returned with an extra bonus of a wash which was appreciated. The old "service required" decal was even transferred from our old windshield to our new windshield. This is the kind of attention to detail that wins loyal customers! I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boyd to anyone needing car repairs.

I brought my car in for a repair to the front left bumper on June 28th and was able to pick it up the next day June 29th. I would like to thank whom ever worked on my car for the wonderful job that they did, not only was it done in record time, but was brought back to look as good as new. I really appreciate the professional way in which I was treated, and although I actually hope never to have to see you guys again, if anything drastic should happen in the future, Boyd Autobody would be my first call. I am delighted to be driving around in my " brand new car " thanks to you !!

The staff were a delight to deal with. Service was quick and attentive. The details of the estimate and the timeline were clear and concise. The repair was actually finished one day earlier than estimated. If one did not know that a repair had been done there would be no way to tell the difference from the original bodywork. When I picked up the car the explanation of what was done was clear and complete. This is the second repair to one of my cars done by Boyd - the earlier one was much more extensive. I had no hesitation in choosing Boyd for this repair, based on my previous experience. Should I be unlucky enough to require another repair I would definitely choose Boyd again. I am writing to express our great satisfaction with the repairs that your firm made to our BMW 550i, in October 2017 (RO #: 2389). While it was parked in an Oak Bay neighbourhood, the car had been sideswiped; by a large, semi-trailer moving truck that was attempting a tight left turn. The right rear corner of the truck's trailer raked the left side of the car from the. The force was sufficient to push the car against the right curb and to drag it forward several feet. Consequently the damage was extensive: three of the four wheel rims were badly scuffed; the left rear tire was ripped; and all body panels from the rear bumper to roughly the mid point of the driver's door were creased, pushed in, and even ripped open in a some places. Your skilful and helpful Estimator, Steve S., explained to us that the repairs would be somewhat ... complicated to perform. We requested our private insurers to approve Boyd Autobody for the repairs based on a very favourable experience that I'd had with your firm several years ago. The BMW remained in your shop for the better part of three weeks; in part because of the time required for subcontractors (wheel repair, alignment) to complete their work and also due to the considerable labour required for disassembly and replacement of some panels. The results of your craftspersons are spectacular. I was permitted to see the repairs at two stages and I was very impressed with their workmanship and the attention to detail throughout. In particular, both the quality of welding to install replacement panels and the finished paint are superb. It is impossible to detect any signs of the repairs, whether in sheet metal alignment, in suface texture, in paint shade, or in degree of brilliance. There is positively no detectable difference from the original, factory finish elsewhere on the car. Beyond the body repairs, every other aspect of the work was similarly returned to 'factory untouched' condition, from the reassembly of the many interior panels and fittings to the restored wheels. It all looks just as it did when we bought the car. Further, it's apparent that you've been as diligent in inspecting the work as in performing it. There have been no problems of any kind. The car drives as well as it always has, both in town and on the highway; there are no small, left over fasteners or other tiny bits; there are noises or rattles of any kind, the doors and trunk lid close as they should; and the car was thoroughly cleaned inside and out. In summary, the car looks magnificent and it drives perfectly. No less impressive, and an important element of this successful account, is the wonderful attitude and corresponding service by every one of your staff whom we encountered. Beginning with Steve S. each was invariably very kind and helpful in every way including arranging for a rental car for several days. Their competence and accommodating approach reflects very favourably on your firm's guiding principle and excellent leadership. Each was very knowledgeable, well organized, very competent and, especially important, genuinely courteous and very pleasant to deal with -- in summary, a thoroughly professional team in every respect.
