"We were "shopping around" for a body shop when we met Rishi Bakshi. His excellent customer service and expertise impressed us. We were looking for the best possible deal because we did not have collision insurance. Rishi gave us a very good estimate to help us out and provided us with a very good estimate. We were surprised that we ended up paying a bit less at the end. This really help our economy. Service was great as soon as I walked in. I was greeted by friendly staff, and I was able to get an appointment quickly to fix my cracked windshield. The Manager Rishi was very courteous, and provided excellent customer service. He definately went the extra mile, by doing a complimentary auto detail, and car wash on my vehicle! I was very impressed, and will recommend this location to family/friends/co workers!! Thanks Rishi!!!

The Boyd team at the Richmond location are proffessional, curteous and go the extra mile to accomodate the customer. The location is clean and organized in appearance which adds to the level of professionalism portrayed. I needed to reshcedule my service appointment twice and was never made to feel it was an imposition. The work on my vehicle was done well and on time which was greatly appreciated. There was also an issue with the rental car company and the Boyd staff took it upon themselves to solve the problem and I was very pleased and suprised at this level of service. I would recommend this location to all friends and family and will use them again if the need arises even though they are an hour from my home and work.

I borrowed my friend's cargo van to move out of my house on dec 27th. Around 2:30am, as I was finishing, I broke off the door handle to the sliding door. My friend needed the van back the next afternoon for work, so I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I called around to a couple shops and they all told me that they couldn't get the parts in that fast. Then I decided to call Boyd. I dealt with Rishi Bakshi, who told me he could get the job done in time. I was doubtful at first, but Rishi rush-ordered the part for me and made sure someone was available to install it as soon as I arrived. I dropped off the van, grabbed a quick lunch down the street and came back to the shop to have my van waiting for me, all done! I was shocked at how fast everything was done, from the time I called to the time my van was ready was just a few short hours. I was ... in a real jam, and thanks to Rishi, things worked out and I was able to return the van to my friend in time for him to go to work. I will definitely be calling Boyd for any future autobody issues and I will be sure to pass on Rishi's name and Boyd's contact info to anyone who needs some work done. "I recently took in our VW golf back to the dealership to get the fog lamp and tail light replaced. I originally thought these small repairs were covered under warranty, but to my disappointment the Richmond VW service representative informed me that the replacements were not covered under normal "wear and tear" and that the charges would amount to more than $300! For two little bulbs! So I decided to take my car elsewhere and when I came to Boyd I spoke with Rishi Bakshi, who was much more accommodating. He not only quoted me a more reasonable price for the bulb changes, but he even allowed me to watch him and his staff do the repairs in order to inspect their craftsmanship and see if it really costs $300+ to change two light bulbs. Mr. Bakshi himself worked on the tail light as a couple of his staff changed the fog lamp, ... and I was very impressed by both the skill and speed at which they did their work. In total it took just 20 minutes to change both bulbs. Mr. Bakshi even threw in a free car wash, which is something I'm not used to experiencing when going to either dealerships or independents. Mr. Bakshi and his team were simply exceptional, and kudos to them for going the extra mile to help me out. I will definitely recommend Boyd Richmond to my friends and family. I have a couple of rock chips on my windshield that I need to get fixed, and after my encounters with both my dealership and Boyd, I think I'll be taking more of my business to Mr. Bakshi and his team." read more

I recently had my 2007 GMC Acadia serviced twice by Boyd in Richmond. My service representative Rishi Bakshi was exceptional. I have a very busy schedule and he made the experience painless by assisting with vehicle pick-up, rental car arrangements, etc. It was all taken care of for me. He truly is a customer oriented manager and all the small touches he provides show his willingness to win the business and keep it. I took my moms car here to get some bodywork done on her Honda Civic. Rishi Bakshi helped me out from the beginning. He was very helpful, knowledgable and honest. I am very detailed and pick places like this very carefully. Rishi also gave me an option of taking a look at other body shops around the area to get comparable rates and his was the cheapest. He had my moms car for about 2 days. Everything was done as promised with the price as promised. The car looks brand new. He also offered to do some extra work on my own car as customer service. 5 Stars. Definitely will recommend to others in the future.

My car looks great! I'm very impressed with the repair work that was done, and the customer service that was provided by Rishi Bakshi and the front desk staff was great! The work was finished in just 8 days! The rental car service that they set up for me was extremely convenient. It was great to not have to worry about finding myself a vehicle because, you know, i'd just been in an accident and really didn't feel like doing much aside from getting home. I will definitely be suggesting this auto body shop to friends or family members that need work done on their vehicles and would certainly return to have work done on my own car. Thanks guys!

Rishi and his team not only took care of damage to the paintwork, they spruced up a very dirty interior and returned the car - in record time - looking better than new. I went to your Richmond location on Saturday hoping it was open and it was as no other place was. I had accidentally scraped my bumper and wanted to find out the cost to fix the damage. The person who helped me which I later found out was the manager Rishi Bakshi, went above and beyond my expectations! Not only did he buff out the scrape at no charge he let me wait in his office and brought me coffee. My two sons were with me also and he let them watch cartoons on tv. I had reservations about going into any body shop by myself as I thought I would be overcharged but was surprised at the level of customer service I received from Mr. Bakshi. Not only did he meet my needs he also exceeded my expectations. After this incident Boyd Auto Body & Glass Richmond has a customer for life. In this day and age it is unheard of for people to not ... only do something for free but be so good at what they do and Mr. Bakshi was amazing.I will be recommending him and Boyd Auto Body & Glass Richmond to all my friends and family. read more
