I had my car broken into last sunday and the glass was shattered. I had the opportunity to take my car to Rishi (after previously taking my moms car there for some bodywork). Needless to say, I received the same great service as before. He promptly scheduled me in and got my car back to me within two days. The best part was, he came into the shop on Friday(which was a holiday - Easter Weekend) just to let me pickup my car. Awesome Service - will definitely bring my cars to him again!

Here at Boyd Richmond on Good Friday morning.... nobody is open including this shop however I had a question about my windshield/ rock chip. I was driving by and saw a few cars outside and some ppl. When I arrived and asked if they were open the guy said we are closed but I will help you. He was in on the stat holiday to help some customers pick up their vehicles. I was blown away at this as NOBODY opens on a long weekend for this type of service. After waiting for about 5 mins the nice guy came over and helped answer my questions about repairing my windshield. Unfortunately the crack was too far gone... since I was there he offered to give me a quote on some bumper damage i had. The quote was very reasonable and I will consider fixing it at a later time. I was offered a coffee while he did the estimate and he was very knowledgable with ... his estimate and took time to explain the procedures. It was nice to see the manager Rishi go out of his way on a day off to help me and others with their cars. I will always remember this experience with Boyd in Richmond and consider them for future repairs if and when needed. I had no hesitations in offering this feedback while visiting this location. After being in a motor vehicle accident I was apprehensive about taking my truck to get repaired, because I am extremely picky and didn’t think my truck would look as it did before the accident. However after doing some research and having all my questions answered by Rishi Bakshi, at BOYD Autobody and Glass in Richmond, I decided this was the team I was going to choose to repair my truck. He genuinely listened to my concerns and went above and beyond his duties to make the process as stress-free as possible for me. From beginning to end he demonstrated exceptional customer service. When my vehicle arrived at the Autobody and he had assessed the damages, he called me to inform me of all the work that they would need to do to make it safe to drive again. He also took the time to arrange a rental car for me. This truly made me feel like a ... valued customer. Throughout the week I didn’t have to call and nag for updates on the progress of the repairs, Rishi would call/email me every step of the way keeping me informed. This seems like a minute detail but when you’re injured and dealing with ICBC it is one less thing that you have to keep in mind. When I went to go pick up my truck, Rishi went over all the repairs with me in depth and allowed me the time to take a look over all the work that was done. The repairs showed quality workmanship, there were no details that were overlooked. Rishi also said that if there was anything that I felt wasn’t right that I could bring it in without any troubles at any time. Rishi was great--friendly, informative, and fixed my rock chip for free. He also recommended someone at a dealership to give me a good deal on a new car. I will keep this experience in mind for future repairs and recommendations to friends. The girls in the office were friendly as well and offered me coffee/tea and provided me with the TV remote while I waited. The repair was done very quickly.

Chose this company based on positive reviews on the net and wasn’t disappointed. Needless to say the repair job was outstanding (the car looked better than new), the process was simple and painless, but most importantly I was very impressed with the staff’s professional and at the same time friendly attitude. It felt like VIP treatment. The manager, Rishi Bakshi, was very helpful. Thank you. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

"I recently had an incident with my GMC Terrain at a gas station which would involve some paintwork. I made an appt with Rishi and had an estimate done. It has been many years since I have needed collision work. The process was quick and easy. I returned to the shop a few days later to have my vehicle repaired. It was ready in 2 days and returned to me in showroom condition. I was amazed at the care taken in not only fixing my truck but the level of customer service I received in the office at Boyd. The 2 girls, Samantha and Mandy were cheerful, helpful and very informative. The staff at Boyd Richmond made an annoying situation very easy to deal with. Coming to this shop was an interesting scenario...... In 1997 I remember coming to this very building to drop my son Rishi off with his tools as this was his first job in the industry ... as a detailer/apprentice. Today he is the GM in this very building for a great company. He has assembled a great team and they deliver great service!! From the very moment I walked in the door at this location I was completely impressed. Samantha at reception was very warm and friendly. After having been in an accident and dealing with the insurance company Samantha was very reassuring. When my car was dropped off, a rental car was pre-arranged for me. Rishi and Samantha were both very friendly and professional. They took the time to explain everything they needed to do to my car. Where I work we give out People First awards for outstanding customer service, and for going above and beyond what is required. If you have an award such as this or even close to it, Rishi and Samantha should have it given to them. Vacuuming the inside, and washing and waxing the outside of my car was not necessary, but was very much appreciated. Rishi took the time to let me inspect the repairs done to my ... vehicle and made sure I was satisfied before signing the invoice. He also took the time to explain all the repairs that were done to my car. I don't know if any of the above mentioned are standard procedure, but to me they went above and beyond. Rishi and the Biyd team went out of their way to accomodate my strenuous schedule. Rishi was extremely knowledgeable and went of his way to proved transportation for me to and from work. Furthermore, when icbc was difficult in proving an additional claim for my glass repair, Rishi did everything in his power to receive the claim. Lastly, Rishi and the boyd team were prompt in their turnaround by providing same day service to accomodate schedule. please see that the team and Rishi are recognized for their outstanding service.
