BC - 12211 Bridgeport Rd, Richmond - 1/7/13

I borrowed my friend's cargo van to move out of my house on dec 27th. Around 2:30am, as I was finishing, I broke off the door handle to the sliding door. My friend needed the van back the next afternoon for work, so I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I called around to a couple shops and they all told me that they couldn't get the parts in that fast. Then I decided to call Boyd. I dealt with Rishi Bakshi, who told me he could get the job done in time. I was doubtful at first, but Rishi rush-ordered the part for me and made sure someone was available to install it as soon as I arrived. I dropped off the van, grabbed a quick lunch down the street and came back to the shop to have my van waiting for me, all done! I was shocked at how fast everything was done, from the time I called to the time my van was ready was just a few short hours. I was ... in a real jam, and thanks to Rishi, things worked out and I was able to return the van to my friend in time for him to go to work. I will definitely be calling Boyd for any future autobody issues and I will be sure to pass on Rishi's name and Boyd's contact info to anyone who needs some work done. "I recently took in our VW golf back to the dealership to get the fog lamp and tail light replaced. I originally thought these small repairs were covered under warranty, but to my disappointment the Richmond VW service representative informed me that the replacements were not covered under normal "wear and tear" and that the charges would amount to more than $300! For two little bulbs! So I decided to take my car elsewhere and when I came to Boyd I spoke with Rishi Bakshi, who was much more accommodating. He not only quoted me a more reasonable price for the bulb changes, but he even allowed me to watch him and his staff do the repairs in order to inspect their craftsmanship and see if it really costs $300+ to change two light bulbs. Mr. Bakshi himself worked on the tail light as a couple of his staff changed the fog lamp, ... and I was very impressed by both the skill and speed at which they did their work. In total it took just 20 minutes to change both bulbs. Mr. Bakshi even threw in a free car wash, which is something I'm not used to experiencing when going to either dealerships or independents. Mr. Bakshi and his team were simply exceptional, and kudos to them for going the extra mile to help me out. I will definitely recommend Boyd Richmond to my friends and family. I have a couple of rock chips on my windshield that I need to get fixed, and after my encounters with both my dealership and Boyd, I think I'll be taking more of my business to Mr. Bakshi and his team." read more

I'm writing this on behalf of my grandfather. We stopped in looking for some mechanical assistance with our Mercedes-Benz ML 430. Thanks Rishi and staff for the direction and clean up with the truck. I recently had my 2007 GMC Acadia serviced twice by Boyd in Richmond. My service representative Rishi Bakshi was exceptional. I have a very busy schedule and he made the experience painless by assisting with vehicle pick-up, rental car arrangements, etc. It was all taken care of for me. The service work on my vehicle was excellent. I would definitly use Boyd again and would recommend this location to anyone. Thank you to Rishi and his team. Exceptional service and work.

We had a fabulous experience! Everyone at this location was very friendly. Our car went in a week before Christmas and we were worried we may have to cancel our holiday plans, but instead they were willing to work with us and our travel dates if the car wasn't ready ( it wasn't due to a mistake by a shipping company) We were able to take the courtesy car and didn't have to change our dates! I would highly ( and already have) recommend them to anyone :)

The Repairs to my roof, and the replacement of my front window was done quickly and efficiently. I enjoyed the use of the 2012 Toyota Camry ,while the work was being done on my car. My car was returned in Excellent condition, all repairs completed, and my car intrerior, vacumed and cleaned out inside. I would highly recommend Boyd Autobody and Glass to friends and family. Amazing service. I have brought my car here a few times now and recommend them to everyone! The only negative thing I have to say about this last time was that when they detailed the inside they didn't do a good job on the windshield and I had to re wash it (streaks everywhere). But they gave me a discount on some extra work that I wanted done and always have a car for me to use. THANK YOU BOYD!
