My Honda CRV trunk got hit by my garage door last night, and I was very upset as this is my favorite car. Today I took my car to a big auto body shop and they told me to replace the low part of the trunk with cost estimate of around $400. Then I drove my car to Boyd Autobody & Glass at 1221 Bridgeport Road Richmond to get second opinion. The amazing part is that I did not ask for the fix directly, but instead I asked them to take a look and give me an estimate. 20 minutes later, the assistant manager Russell Frost told me that my car is fixed without any charge. It is unbelievable to me at that moment. I am so thankful to Mr Frost and the technician whom fixed my car. This is the auto body shop I would like to recommend to everyone. With this exceptional service, I believe your business will boom and have a long term success. Now I ... read more

I dropped my vehicle off a week earlier than planned as I was going out of town to have the bumper repaired and painted on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. The facility felt they could get it done by Friday when I was scheduled to return. Upon calling on Thursday, while out of town, Ken said that their painter did not show up and the vehicle would not be ready until end of business on Monday. When I called Ken on Monday he indicated that given the condition of the bumper and the time constraints to deliver on Monday, he had replaced the bumper with a new one and painted it to match the vehicle. I was concerned about the cost, however he indicated they were sticking to the original estimate. I was delighted with the work and the price and feel I got a better quality job without any additional cost. I'm not sure if they made any money on the work, ... read more

Drew and the folks at Boyd ROCK!!! I was in a car accident, rear ended, which left me with physical injuries that I'm still working through. Even though the damage to my car was minimal (you wouldn't even know I was in an accident), I needed to have it properly looked at and repaired. So, I filed a claim the same day of the accident and began the process of walking through this difficult situation as I've never been in a car accident before. When I came to Boyd for the initial assessment of my car and subsequent estimate, Drew Turnbull took a look and captured pictures of the damage. He was professional, friendly, and very understanding about my situation. He was also very reassuring in that Boyd could handle and repair my car. That was a huge weight off my shoulders as I was, and still am, dealing with my physical healing. I am truly ... read more

We were very pleased with Boyd! They were efficient, friendly, and thorough. They carefully assessed the damage to our car, explained the repair process, and kept in touch on a regular basis. Ultimately, they just did a really great job. While we hope not to need their services again (we wouldn't want to be rear-ended again!), we would return to them for future repairs. We should add that our claim was handled entirely by our insurance company (we were not at fault for the damage, and we did not have to pay for the deductible). The process between Boyd, the insurance company, and the car rental company was seamless. It made what could have been a very stressful situation relatively pleasant. Thanks!

Hands down the best Autobody repair shop that I have gone to. They were polite and professional while also being able to talk casually about the repair. It was completed and the results are above and beyond what I could have hoped for, they even cleaned off a huge grease stain from the front of my vehicle which I thought was going to take me hours of work. I cannot express how pleased I am.

We recently had hail damage repaired at the Marion Street Location in Winnipeg. We were very pleased with most of the repairs but there were some issues when we got the car back. We spoke with Cherryl Hnatowich and made her aware of our concerns, she assured us that she would take care of the problem and get us another appt. she called us back the next day and she got the car in and we had the car back sooner then she had said we would get it with all of our issues taken care of.Great job of customer service on Cherryl's part. We would be more than happy to deal with Boyd Auto Body again if the need should arise and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Once again great job Cherryl.

The Boyd experience was just fantastic the way the front office and the appraiser went about their work was great. They took care of everything made it a hassle free repair. When my truck was returned the work by the body shop and paint shop was excellent. The truck was washed and cleaned inside as well. This is the first time that I had the inside cleaned at a body shop.n I will never use any other body shop than BOYD and I will tell all my family and friends to do the same. Boyd is Great.
