I just wanted to pass along two instances of great service at the 614 Dudley Ave Boyd shop in Wpg. I dropped in to the shop yesterday for an estimate to repair scratches to the front number on my 2010 Honda Civic. They advised that to fully address the problem the bumper needed to be removed, sanded and painted for a cost of approx $700. I requested that they try buffing the damaged area which they did with significant improvement to the damaged area. This was a great outcome for me based on the age and value of the vehicle even though it is in good condition. On a previous occasion a few years ago an exterior door handle on the same car became loose. A Honda dealership estimated the cost of repair at $180 plus. I went to the Boyd Autobody on Dudley Ave. They took off the inside door panel and tightened the door mechanism. It took a few ... minutes. Again, no charge. I appreciate the honesty and integrity of services of the staff and customer relations extended at the Dudley Ave location in Wpg. They are a credit to the Boyd Autobody corporate name and I will go to the for any future repair work. They have my referral as an honest place for service. read more

I would like to share with you a very pleasant experience at your Winnipeg Lakewood location. In a nutshell, the retaining clip that holds the glass to the lowering mechanism in the driver's door of my car had come separated from the glass. The glass was thus loose and off track in the door and would neither go up or down as intended however the other plastic clip was still holding properly. When I phoned the store this morning to inquire about repairing the problem the receptionist patiently took down my information and subsequently asked me to bring the car in to have a look at it. Long story short the window was repaired within an hour and I was on my way after being informed by your service representative Brad D. that there would be no charge and if the problem reoccurred the vehicle should be brought back and they would look at it ... again. I would like to mention that I previously contacted another firm (The Speedy people) that also do auto glass repair. There I was informed that they do not repair this type of problem as the glue that holds the clip to the glass tends to fail and so they will only install new glass. The cost for this repair was estimated at $410.00 or $290.00 for glass only neither of which were very appealing alternatives. Regardless if this is a valid argument or not, your excellent service, honesty and cost was certainly very appreciated. I cannot remember such prompt and professional service in the recent past and congratulate all for such a good job. I hate to give another review that means I hit another deer. When you think the service could not get better than last time I am amazed that Brianne, Bev and Brad were absolutely incredible. We bypassed MPI and went directly to Boyd as they are Direct Repair certified. All I can say is Super Service

Friendly, Efficient and Effective - these guys made the pain of my taking in the car for repair painless. 36 hour turnaround on a front of vehicle two panel repair, car provided by Enterprise next door, all my questions anticipated and answered, service could not have been better all around. A well engineered process.

I always take my cars for collision repairs to the Scurfield location. They complete the job on time. They also offer you an courtesy car. In addition they provide you with updates for the repairs. Easy, no hassle. Excellent customer service.
