1) estimate: quick and efficient, took place on a Saturday - and it was free! 2) scheduling work: easily scheduled, efficient, completed easily over the phone 3) work -- drop-off & pick-up -- TOO easy ! The convenience of a car -- a presentable car -- REALLY helped immensely. I haven't had a lot of bodywork done over the years, but this was far and away the BEST experience I've ever had with this type of thing. I will DEFINITELY recommend Boyd to others, and definitely look to return when I have other bodywork/glasswork troubles. Refreshing -- I am so used to places that list reasons why something CAN'T be done, and I didn't get that here -- excellent work.

My Honda CRV trunk got hit by my garage door last night, and I was very upset as this is my favorite car. Today I took my car to a big auto body shop and they told me to replace the low part of the trunk with cost estimate of around $400. Then I drove my car to Boyd Autobody & Glass at 1221 Bridgeport Road Richmond to get second opinion. The amazing part is that I did not ask for the fix directly, but instead I asked them to take a look and give me an estimate. 20 minutes later, the assistant manager Russell Frost told me that my car is fixed without any charge. It is unbelievable to me at that moment. I am so thankful to Mr Frost and the technician whom fixed my car. This is the auto body shop I would like to recommend to everyone. The Boyd experience was just fantastic the way the front office and the appraiser went about their work was great. They took care of everything made it a hassle free repair. When my truck was returned the work by the body shop and paint shop was excellent. The truck was washed and cleaned inside as well. This is the first time that I had the inside cleaned at a body shop.n I will never use any other body shop than BOYD and I will tell all my family and friends to do the same. Boyd is Great.
